About David Loy
David Loy is the legal director of the First Amendment Coalition, a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization dedicated to defending freedom of speech, freedom of the press, and the people’s right to know. He is an experienced First Amendment and open government litigator who previously served as legal director of the ACLU of San Diego & Imperial Counties after several years as a public defender and civil rights lawyer.
