About Sean Elo-Rivera
Sean Elo-Rivera was elected to represent San Diego City Council District 9 in November, 2020, and has served as City Council President since December 2021. He has championed expanding housing opportunity, homelessness prevention, and leveling the playing field for San Diego’s underserved communities. With a background in community organizing, youth development, and education, Sean is dedicated to making San Diego a world-class city where every person in every community has an opportunity to fulfill their potential.
